CaregiverAsia partners Helpling to increase on-demand cleaning services on their platform – allowing both companies to maximise potential in home care service.

Singapore, 21 June 2019 – CaregiverAsia Pte Ltd, an online aggregator of trusted on-demand health and caregiving services, and Helpling, a leading online platform for on-demand home cleaning services, have partnered up to better their home care services for users of their platforms.

Through this exclusive partnership, both CaregiverAsia and Helpling will leverage on their strengths, capabilities and networks to further grow and strengthen the range and quality of home based services in Singapore and the region.

For one, CaregiverAsia will be able to access Helpling’s 4,000-strong database of cleaning specialists in Singapore to offer more reliable and professional choices for users on its platform. Helpling customers would also be able to access the 10,000 trained and experienced Caregivers on the CaregiverAsia platform. This move allows for greater flexibility and efficiency for its users.

Ms Yeo Wan Ling, CEO of CaregiverAsia, said, “An increasing number of our Careseekers are opting for home cleaning services as part of Respite Care Services that they can enjoy on demand on our platform. Helpling is certainly a very welcome addition to augment the services that we provide. I believe that our partnership with Helpling comes at an opportune moment to meet these demands and provide a more efficient service to our customers.”

Similarly too, Helpling will be able to extend its reach to Careseekers on CaregiverAsia’s platform, many of whom have demonstrated interest in reliable and professional house cleaning services, as part of strengthening their overall home care journey.

Mr James Lim, Managing Director APAC of Helpling, said, “The partnership with CaregiverAsia is a logical move for us with its market leading position in the local home care sector. The congruent needs of our respective stakeholders provide immense opportunities for both supply and demand-side synergies. Given that both companies also face similar operational challenges, we will mutually benefit from the exchange of resources and best practices.”

CaregiverAsia and the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS) Ink Alliance to Provide Mental Wellness Safety Nets for Freelance Caregivers in Singapore.

Singapore, 21 February 2019 – CaregiverAsia, an online aggregator of trusted on-demand health and caregiving services, and APACS, an association for mental healthcare professionals, combine their expertise to foster stronger synergies in the area of mental wellness for freelance healthcare professionals.

Caregiver stress is an often overlooked condition for professionals in the caregiving and home care industries, with studies providing figures as high as 7 in 10 healthcare workers having faced verbal or physical abuse in their line of work. Freelance caregivers are especially vulnerable as many practice their trades alone, and have limited access to mental wellness resources and community-based support groups.

The partnership between freelance platform CaregiverAsia, and professional psychotherapy association, APACS, aims to bring, for the first time in Singapore, mental wellness awareness and relief, to Singapore’s freelance caregiving community. APACS will serve as a mental wellness anchor for CaregiverAsia’s community of 8,000 freelance caregivers through a series of talks, therapy sessions and group sharing sessions throughout the year. CaregiverAsia will also in turn, be a source of respite care, for APACS members.

Said Ms. Yeo Wan Ling, CEO of CaregiverAsia, “Our caregivers are the beating heart of our business. Caring for their well being has always been a priority and this partnership with APACS is a monumental step in helping them cope in a potentially stressful industry. We have been building up multiple safety nets for freelance caregivers over the years, such as introducing training programs, medical malpractice insurance and service agreements to help protect our freelance community. With the partnership with APACS, we are thrilled to now be able to extend our safety nets to that of protecting the mental wellness of our caregivers.”

Jeslyn Lim, President of APACS, had this to share, “We are absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to partner with CaregiverAsia. This collaboration entails significant advancement and growth in helping professionals in the healthcare industry. We are confident that freelance caregivers will benefit from the mental health care that APACS members can bring to their lives. By taking care of their own mental health, freelancers will, in turn, be able to enhance the quality of care for their patients, creating a balanced virtuous cycle. We are sure that the alliance will yield tremendous accomplishments for all.”

Unique, innovative and comprehensive home healthcare model makes healthcare delivery seamless, trusted and convenient

Ohio, United States, 31 May 2018 – Caregiver USA Corporation, which encompasses a healthcare agency and its proprietary online caregiver matching platform, www.bookacare.com, is pleased to announce that it is able to serve patients across the full spectrum of home care market, regardless of their payment sources (CMS reimbursement (Medicare & Medicaid), third-party insurance, self-funded or out-of-pocket private duty). CaregiverUSA has developed a comprehensive model that can handle all payer sources in Ohio.

This follows its recent announcement that it has achieved CMS accreditation. This means that clients will be eligible for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement when they receive a home care service through CaregiverUSA’s care hub, making claims possible through this accreditation. “The global home healthcare market is expected to reach USD 364.69 billion by 2022”1.

Said Jinji Yue, Chief Executive Officer of CaregiverUSA, “CaregiverUSA is a comprehensive home care services company with an innovative business model that supports aging at home. We help seniors get reimbursements through different payer sources instead of the usual pay-out-of-pocket models. Our system brings convenience to seniors as they can stay within CaregiverUSA platform which has the ability to serve all payer sources and both via online and mobile. This ensures that patients have seamless access to home care throughout their health and care journey.
